The outreach was themed around love, compassion, community support and intentional giving. It reflected the Foundation’s commitment to social impact and its mission to uplift individuals through timely interventions and acts of kindness. As part of the campaign, the Foundation embraced the spirit of generosity, emphasizing that goodness is reflected in our willingness to support others. The initiative also highlighted values such as empathy, humanity, responsibility and community development.
To ensure fairness, transparency and inclusivity, the selection process was carefully structured into two categories:
The Foundation opened an online call for support applications across its social media platforms. Interested individuals were encouraged to share their stories, financial needs and reasons for requiring assistance.
After a careful review process, 10 beneficiaries were selected based on:
* Financial need
* Urgency of support required
* Personal circumstances
* Authenticity of submissions
These beneficiaries each received ₦40,000 cash support directly from the Foundation.
In addition to the online selection process, the Peter Odofin Foundation carried out physical community outreach efforts to identify individuals in need within various local communities.
The team engaged directly with people including:
* Small business owners
* Elderly individuals
* Single mothers
* Parents and caregivers
* Individuals facing financial hardship
Thirty beneficiaries were physically reached and supported with ₦40,000 each, bringing the total number of beneficiaries to 40 individuals.
The 40 FOR 40 Outreach Initiative recorded tremendous success and became a memorable expression of love and generosity. Beyond the financial support provided, the outreach created moments of joy, relief, encouragement and renewed hope for many beneficiaries.
Several recipients expressed deep gratitude, sharing emotional testimonies about how the support arrived at a critical time in their lives. For many, the outreach helped alleviate pressing financial burdens, support small businesses, cater for family needs and restore confidence for the future.
The initiative also strengthened the Foundation’s connection with the community and reinforced its commitment to sustainable humanitarian impact.
The outreach received overwhelmingly positive feedback both online and offline. Supporters, beneficiaries and members of the public commended the Founder, Mr Peter Odofin for choosing to celebrate a personal milestone by impacting lives meaningfully.
Many applauded the transparency of the process, the intentionality behind the initiative and the Foundation’s dedication to genuine community service.
Social media engagement surrounding the campaign reflected strong public appreciation, with numerous comments, reposts, prayers and words of encouragement from well-wishers and community members.
